Those of you who rely on the free podcast link in the upper-left have probably been disappointed at the sporadic nature of my podcast posting.  ”Where’s October?”
Here’s the issue: when I’m performing the show, I cannot also record the show.  So I have been recording the shows from the replay feed that plays on my local AM 620 KPOJ radio station’s website (http://620kpoj.com) every Sunday morning from 8am-10am Pacific.  Then I chop out all the commercials, save it and upload it.
Problem is that my PC sometimes pukes when it tries to record anything longer than two hours.  So if I don’t get to the “stop” button immediately after my show, I lose the recording, and that’s happened every weekend here in October.
Well, now I’ve gotten a bit more advertiser money and I can afford to pay our good friend and favorite immigrant worker Stevie an extra few shillings to do that work for me.  Plus, he’s got the direct recording of the shows, which sound better than the online feed copy I’ve been recording.
So now I’m posting back episodes from October, September, and July, and I’m back-dating them to the date of the show, so they’ll appear in order in the podcast feed.  And from now on, you should have a ready-to-listen-to Russ Belville Show by Saturday night!
