According to a new poll commissioned by The Denver Post and conducted by SurveyUSA, marijuana legalization in Colorado enjoys majority support at 51%.
Public Policy Polling has already revealed growing support for Amendment 64. In June, PPP reported a 46% / 42% lead in support for marijuana legalization. In August, PPP showed the lead growing to 47% / 38%, which it maintained through the first September poll.
Men still support legalization more than women, but women are at 49% support currently. All income demographics and age demographics except senior citizens support the measure. Below age 35, support is at 61%.
