The Russ Belville Show analyzed census data and recent media reports on the arrests of African-Americans for marijuana possession and found that in at least eleven of the top 25 US cities by population, the percentage of marijuana arrests of blacks are 38% to over eight times greater than the percentage of black population in those cities.
It’s not so much that people fear pot legalization; it’s that they don’t want to see what they consider “potheads” all over their neighborhoods or, worse, their children becoming one. It’s not fair or right but it is.
I shouldn’t have to tell you this: If you are growing marijuana in your home, you always lock the door, you always pull the blinds closed, and you always check the peephole (your door has a peephole, right?) to see who is at the door before you even bother to respond.
