The Russ Belville Show

The public should have no fear of the threat of square groupers so long as Admiral Chong is on the job.

A US Navy aircraft carrier group recovered 10 tons of marijuana that was dumped from small boats in the Pacific Ocean. The Navy is reporting that this weekend, two single engine boats that were both about 25 feet long were spotted on the waters near the California border with Mexico. People aboard the boats began dumping plastic bags over the sides of the boat and were able to escape before the authortiies got there.

The two boats were spotted about 15 hours apart from each other, but authorities think that they were associated in some way. Although no one was captured or arrested, the Navy recovered about four tons of marijuana from the first boat and over six tons from the second boat. It was a big deal, not just for the amount of mariuana seized, but because both the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz and the cruiser USS Princeton were assisted by the US Coast Guard and the Mexican Navy as well.

All that weed is scheduled for destruction later this week.
