Since 1975, the University of Michigan has conducted the Monitoring the Future survey, asking 8th, 10th, and 12th graders about their use and perceptions regarding drugs. Now, to go along with the Monitoring the Future 1975-2017 Data I uploaded earlier, is that same data in two programmable charts.
The first of the two charts is based on the frequency with which students use one particular substance. Selections include Lifetime, Annual, Monthly, and Daily. The Years and Grades displayed can be filtered as well.
The second chart allows researchers to compare the frequency of use between two or more drugs for a given grade. Years can be filtered here as well.
The resulting chart of drugs is color-coded to match the substance colors in the accompanying Drug Use Tables file.
