I’ve written tangentially about Boise activist Brandi Swindell. I have one of those six-degrees-of-kevin-bacon-type relationships to her, as I went to high school with someone who (I believe) is her cousin. In this picture, she’s standing in a converted baseball diamond off of 27th & State St. in Boise (it’s on the way to one of my sisters-in-law’s house) where little crosses have been planted to represent the little “womb-babies” that have been aborted this year.
She’s the national director of Boise-based Generation Life. She has also made a name for herself by showing up in Florida to protest the whole Terri Schiavo debacle, and lately she’s been the leader of Boise’s Keep the Commandments Coalition (more on that here.)
You’d think someone that active, that political, and that young would be smart enough to secure her own name in the dot-com domain. You’d think wrong. (Thanks to House Blender Wayne for the tip!)
