When NORML’s Chris Goldstein retired from the NORML Daily Audio Stash podcast, the organization needed someone with a background in radio who was familiar with the issues surrounding marijuana law reform. I was still hosting my weekly show on XM Satellite Radio and was rising in the ranks of Oregon NORML to second-in-command. After some face-to-face meetings with the national crew at a NORML National Conference in 2007, the stage was set for me to take the reins of the world’s greatest marijuana podcast — on my 40th birthday, to boot!
