Rap superstar and MTV’s Pimp My Ride host Xzibit was caught with less than two grams of marijuana at the Guam airport. For those of you not “in the know”, that’s about $20 worth (less if purchased in bulk) of weed and would make three or four reasonable-sized joints.
Xzibit was given a citation and will have to pay a fine unless he intends to fight the matter in court, but Customs officials say the California resident was cooperative. ‘He was very good-natured that morning,’ recalled Blas, ‘even declaring that he had it and he was smoking it. Very seldom we find people being caught and the very first thing is deny, deny, deny. He was very relaxed about it.’
Sure he’s relaxed and honest; he’s a multi-millionaire who can afford a small fine and won’t lose his job over a drug violation. And he’s flying into Guam, not someplace like Indonesia or Singapore where he could be caned or put to death.
