940NEWS: ROCHFORT BRIDGE, Alta. (CP) – Four RCMP officers were killed during a raid on a marijuana grow operation in northwestern Alberta on Thursday, a government source told The Canadian Press.
Well, at least those four fine officers didn’t lose their lives in vain. Thanks to their efforts, Canada is now free from the menace that is marijuana. Nobody will ever again be able to smoke reefer in the Great White North. And the bust is sure to have an effect on the American pot market; prices will likely skyrocket from the current same-per-ounce-as-gold levels.
(Someone dosed my Diet Mountain Dew with an extra dash of sarcasm today, it seems.)
