I’m watching Michael Moore on Conan from last night. He’s making a documentary called “Fahrenheit 911” – a look at the connection between Bush, bin Laden, and the Saudi royal family. Can’t wait!
He brings up a great fact (which I already knew, but thought I’d post here): On 9/12/01 & 9/13/01, the entire civilian airline infrastructure was shut down. Except for a few planes that flew to various points of the US to pick up members of the bin Laden family, fly them to Boston, and then fly them to Paris. They were never interrogated and the FBI never investigated them in any way.
In other words, for the 48 hours following the worst act of terrorism on US soil, perpetrated by men mostly from Saudi Arabia, the only way you could fly in the US is if your last name was bin Laden.
