WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States’ image is so tattered overseas two years after the Iraq invasion that communist China is viewed more favorably than the U.S. in many long-time Western European allies, an international poll has found.
I know Chimpy isn’t so good at reading newspapers, so I thought I’d map it out in easy-to-read graphs (click for larger version):
In this graph we illustrate our “favorable” rating has slipped among our western allies from 2000 (Clinton’s last year) to 2002-2005 (Bush post 9/11).
And it doesn’t get better when you get out of Europe…
Here we see how many of our closest allies think better of China than us. Great job uniting and not dividing, Shrub!
