Whew! One nice thing about being laid up with busted-up feet – you get a lot of time to work on the computer! I’ve redesigned the look and feel of my personal website. Too many people complained about the rainbow-colors-on-black, and I also thought the old design was a little “busy”. Now the site features a silver theme, completely personalized by me with custom graphics and buttons. Navigation should be easier, thanks to a permanent navigation-footer I’ve installed.
Soon I’ll be re-posting most of the material that was on my old website. From the main page, you’ll be able to access my NFL Pool, this Blog, and a brand new photo gallery, which should be much nicer for viewing my various photos. The new scripts come from a system called CopperMine Photo Gallery, which is absolutely free. It solves every photo gallery problem that has been bothering me (thumbnailing, random picture display, “Back / Next” navigation, slide show viewing, and emailing a picture card!) It’s really cool!
I’ll also be posting some new material that hasn’t been on my site before, including some of my Software Tips & Tricks, Keyboard Templates, Tutorials, Personal Essays, and a much richer section of Favorite Links.
The only problem still bothering me is my Blog. For some reason, no matter what I do, I can’t get the scroll bar to disappear from the bottom edge of the main frame. Argh!
