While Michael Jackson finishes up his days in court, it looks like the googly-eyed Runaway Bride will be seeing her first days in court:
Gwinnett County District Atty. Danny Porter said at a news conference that a grand jury had decided to bring two charges against Wilbanks: one felony count of making a false statement, which carries a sentence of up to 5 years, and one misdemeanor charge of falsely reporting a crime, which carries a term of up to 1 year. The charges also carry fines of up to $11,000.
Good, glad to see it. I don’t necessarily think she needs 6 years behind bars, though, maybe just a house arrest ankle bracelet for a few months, like Martha Stewart. She’s checked herself into a mental health facility, which is where she belongs, not jail. But she should have to pay those fines and reimburse the authorities.
