This is the graphic that Rev. Fred Phelps had up on his site along with his message of love and understanding for the now 49 victims of the 7/7 London Terrorist Bombings.
So in honor of the perversion of Christ’s teachings that is the Westboro Baptist Church, I present to you a little musical tribute to the Rev. Fred Phelps.
It’s a song called “[Fuck Fred Phelps & the] Westboro Baptist Church” by I Can Lick Any SOB In The House (my new favorite band name), a band from right here in Portland, Oregon.

The album’s most outrageous song, “Westboro Baptist Church” takes a stab at Westboro Baptist Church head Fred Phelps and their website, http://www.godhatesfags.com.
“Fuck Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church, fuck him long and hard, until his rectum hurts” and “Now if God hates fags, you asshole, I’m sure he hates you more” are just two of the song’s controversial lines. The song also shouts out to others, including George W. Bush (“He prays to a God that hates his guts, then he sends young boys to die”). The 700 Club’s Pat Robertston (“Took all my grandma’s money, gave it to the 700 Club”). And faith healer Benny Hinn (“He claims he’s a faith healer, but he’s just a charlatan”).
They will be performing here in Portland at Dante’s on Saturday, July 16. They’ll also be touring to Los Angeles CA, Boulder City NV, Boise ID, Seattle WA, Tacoma WA, and Jackson Hole WY over the summer (see their schedule).
