Haven’t been at the PC much today because it was a beautiful 74° day here in the Portland area. Iva and I took a nice long walk down one of Beaverton’s wonderful trails.

One little bit of local news: the Portland School District turned down an offer of financial assistance from Wal-Mart by a vote of 20-1. There’s a very strong anti-Wal-Mart movement out here. I knew I moved here for good reason.

Later tonight I’ll be posting more pages to the website. Look in Other Stuff for the new and improved Iraq War Statistics and Charts, including charts and stats comparing the casualty counts from the Vietnam War and the Iraq War on a month-by-month basis. I also took most of Thrusday to download (150KB at a time!) the entire list of 58,000+ casualties from the Vietnam War; it’ll be up there, too, in various downloadable formats.
