If traffic stats hold up, the Radical Writ should experience its 10,000th hit today (since January 1st). I’ve evolved in the TTLB Ecosystem from Insignificant Microbe to Slithering Reptile to Adorable Little Rodent and now up to Marauding Marsupial in short time. I’m averaging 90 unique visits a day where a month ago it was half that.

And I have YOU to thank for that. I started writing the Writ just because I like to write and how writing forces me to research and think about so many topics. I never really expected anyone but my friends and family to read this stuff, but now I feel like I’ve made new friends and joined an even bigger family — the Reality-Based Community!

OK, before my head gets too big, I’ll just remember that my blogmistress just had her 200,000th hit, and that DailyKos gets fifty times the traffic I’ll ever see. My place is like a kid’s lemonade stand on the sidewalk outside the Liberal Blog Mall. Pam’s got one of them skinny shops inside on the second floor. And Kos owns the mall.
