I’m joining another blog-based campaign, this one conceived of by the hyper-heterosexual General JC Christian, patriot.
It involves the College Republicans – that fine group of patriots who clamored so loudly for the beginning of the War on Terrah. Those nicely-dressed young boys and girls with names like Chip and Chuck and Charlotte who turn out in droves for Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, and David Horowitz. Those mostly white, mostly well-off kids going to school on a trust fund who are more than eager to support the Administration’s aims of letting poorer kids die in the name of securing our oil.
It’s time for them to put up or shut up. Military recruitment is at an all-time low. Young healthy kids between the ages of 18-25 are desperately needed to continue the mission the College Republicans believe in so much.
Oh, wait a minute. These kids believe in the role models of George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Paul Wolfowitz, Bill O’Reilly, Joe Scarborough, John Bolton, Richard Perle, Jeb Bush, Tom DeLay, and Dennis Hastert and so many others who did not serve and avoided military conflict at all costs. The College Republicans, like those they admire, are content to be the cheerleaders of war, too busy with their other priorities, sitting on their pilodinal cysts and kneeling on their bad knees, offering jingoism with a side of bloodlust while all the brown people take all the good slots in the military.
Click the picture to learn how you can take part in some good ol’-fashioned agitprop. Make stickers and get t-shirts asking the College Republicans to enlist. Ask them to pass a resolution to disband and enlist for the good of the war effort. Videotape encounters with the College Republicans as they are asked to enlist and spread it around the net. Ask College Republicans to put links to military recruiters on their state organization’s web pages.
