I’ve been quite busy this weekend, so not much to post. Today at 2PM I go in to shoot the final episode of OrNORML’s Cannabis Community Forum on Portland’s Multnomah Community Television. We’re on Channel 11 for any of you in the Portland area subscribing to Comcast Cable.
Today will be a look back at the year that was in marijuana law reform, including the Supreme Court cases of Raich v. Gonzalez (Feds can still bust state medical marijuana patients) and Illinois v. Caballes (cops don’t need probable cause to bring in drug dogs), the Oregon Supreme Court looking at Washburn v. Columbia Forest Products (can a company fire a medical marijuana patient who tests positive on a pee test?), and the various bills that succeeded and failed at the federal and state level regarding marijuana.
We’ll also be looking forward to next Saturday’s Funny 420 Comedy Tour (a fundraiser for OrNORML) and the season’s premiere cannabis community event, the Oregon Medical Cannabis Awards™ this November 26th.
