I finally got the time and inspiration to tackle some of the issues I’ve been having with the website here.
- Consistent Loading — I’ve been perplexed as to why my website has difficulty loading. Turns out, it’s an AJAX setting that allows the podcasts to play continuously while surfing other pages. That’s a shame, because I liked that functionality.
- Shifting Titles — Fore reasons I could never figure out, the page titles on some of the podcast shows would shift slightly so they’d hide under the main header. I recreated those pages and the problem disappeared.
- Disqus Comments — I was wondering why nobody was commenting. Then I discovered I had failed to add a section to the posts for comments. Perhaps those two are related.
- Clearer Graphics — I made some cosmetic changes to the site icon and the banner headings across my platforms.
But now, after all that success, I’ve had a terrible failure. None of the podcast episodes will play! Not on this site, nor from Spotify or any other source. Fantastic. I manage to get the website looking great and somehow end up killing all its audio.
Sorry about that. I’ll try to have it fixed as soon as possible. UPDATE: Hooray! It’s me, not you! There was an issue with my sound here at the studio that required a reboot.
