Now, it is not as if I have a problem with the sexual peccadilloes of the high and mighty. I was one of the ones screaming the loudest about the insanity of prosecuting the president’s pecker back in 1998. To paraphrase the motto of Clinton’s campaign, “it’s the hypocrisy, stupid!” Have all the divorces and affairs you want, dodge the draft or hide in the closet, I don’t care. But don’t you comment about that speck in my eye until you deal with the log in thine own. People who live in glass houses would be wise to undress in the basement.
