I had just finished uploading the 3 Doors Down tune for the passing of Brad Arnold when I looked at my news feed to see that Greg Brown, the founding guitarist of Cake, had passed away as well from illness. Their 1996 hit “The Distance” is one of the funkiest bass lines I’ve ever heard in an alt-rock song. Surprisingly, I’ve never even jammed on this groove before, and now I’m glad I have. RIP to Greg Brown and thanks for writing this gem.

Donald Trump’s Kind Words on Rob Reiner’s Passing (Do Not Exist)
The only Trump Derangement Syndrome is you people who believe a billionaire gives a shit about the poor, a grifter cares about the working class, a fraud cares about fairness, a draft dodger cares about the military, a criminal cares about law and order, a reality show host cares about real life, a Russian asset cares about America, and a serial-cheating pedophile with three baby mamas and public lust for his daughter cares about the family.
