Avoid the Handmaid State

To begin this bit of self-indulgent fun, I picked “Reminiscing” by the Little River Band. It’s one of my go-to songs for singing karaoke—yacht rocky, some nice jazz vocal licks at the top end of my range—and it’s also got this nice little pop bass line that I’ve never been in a band with the horns and keys to perform.
