No Kings 2.0 Protest in Grants Pass Draws 2,500

We’ve returned from the No Kings Rally in Grants Pass, Oregon. It was clearly a larger turnout from the previous No Kings, both on the anti-fascism side and on the MAGA side. For a county that voted 62% for Trump, our turnout, estimated at 2,500 by the local organizers, is quite impressive.

This one is the Robert Morris who founded the Gateway megachurch in Texas. The Robert Morris who was counted as Donald Trump’s spiritual advisor. He’s just pleaded guilty to the sexual abuse of a 12-year-old starting in 1982. Morris was a traveling preacher then, living with a family in Oklahoma, where he continued abusing the daughter for the next four years.
